Start Using Shorepower TSE

To enjoy the benefits of Shorepower you need 3 things:

1. An appliance or electrical device for your truck cab that uses 110-volt alternating current (AC). This could be a heater, air conditioning unit, microwave, coffee maker, TV, DVD player, lights, refrigerator, etc.
2. A heavy-duty extension cord like the one shown below, to plug into the Shorepower pedestal.  A 12-guage or larger cord is recommended.  If you don’t have a heavy-duty extension cord you can buy one at a Shorepower equipped travel plaza, or order one by clicking on this link.  See the network of Shorepower travel plazas here. You can also connect to the Internet if you have an ethernet cable (shown below).

     

3. An existing Shorepower account or credit card to open a new Shorepower account or to buy a single use service. To open a Shorepower account or purchase a single use service dial 1-888-841-3137.

When you have completed Steps 1 - 3 pull your rig into a parking space at a travel plaza equipped with Shorepower pedestals and follow the connection instructions on the sign.
